What is loaded pace?

Loaded pace is your pace while carrying weight. A 15-minute mile with no pack and a 15-minute mile with 45 pounds are not the same workout.

Why it matters

Rucking changes the cost of the mile. Load affects heart rate, foot stress, posture, recovery, and how repeatable the session is.

How to use it

Track the same route with the same load, then compare pace and effort over time. That is how a loaded mile becomes a training signal.

How Ruck Mode helps

Ruck Mode lets Apple Watch users attach pack weight to the session so the debrief remembers what you carried.
