Android / Wear OS testing

Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch are next in line.

Ruck Mode for Android and standalone Wear OS is now a production-track testing candidate. If you train on Android with a Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, or another Wear OS watch, join the tester list and help us harden the loaded-mile loop before public Google Play launch.

Not public on Google Play yet. The next lane is internal/closed testing while Play signing, Data Safety, real watch screenshots, and Pixel/Galaxy Watch QA are completed.

What is built

The Garmin-alternative story gets bigger when Android can carry too.

Phone + watch

Android phone and standalone Wear OS builds now exist for the first loaded-mile loop.

Sensor path

GPS/location and heart-rate sensor paths are wired where device permissions and hardware are available, with emulator fallback for testing.

Play testing next

The next milestone is Google Play internal testing, not public production. That protects early users and keeps the product honest.

Tester list

Tell us what you carry and what you wear.

This list decides who gets first access when the Google Play internal/closed test lane opens. Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, Samsung Health, and Android users should raise a hand here.

Apple Watch is live now. Android and Wear OS are preparing for Google Play internal testing.

Release gate

What has to be true before public Google Play launch.

Play signing and policy

Upload key, Play App Signing, Data Safety, health/location declarations, and privacy link have to be clean.

Real watch screenshots

Public launch needs real round-watch screenshots from Pixel Watch or Galaxy Watch, not only emulator proof.

Device QA

Start, pause, resume, finish, GPS, heart rate, permission-denied states, and battery behavior need real-device confirmation.
